VRV FAQ

VRV is an exciting new video experience bringing the best of anime, animation, gaming, comedy, fantasy, and technology to fans in one unified environment.

How will this affect Crunchyroll?
Crunchyroll will become a channel on VRV in addition to its current standalone service. It’s like how you can subscribe to HBO GO, or add HBO onto your cable package.

What devices will VRV be made available on?
VRV is available on IOS phones, Android phones, XBOX One, PS4, Chromecast, newer Roku devices, and now on web.   We are working to make VRV apps available on more devices such as tablets soon, but for now you can use your browser to watch on the web.  We can't give out dates, but watch for new announcements!

Is a free version be available?
Yes. VRV has both a free subscription where users can view ad-supported content, and a paid premium subscription where all content is ad-free.

What channels are available on VRV?

  • Crunchyroll
