- Your Watchlist keeps track of your favorite shows, but sometimes not everything shows up right away. This can happen temporarily during maintenance or when a device needs troubleshooting. Here are a few checks you can run through to get things back in order, depending on your device.
Amazon Fire TV / Fire Stick
- Restart your Fire Stick: Home > My Fire TV > Restart.
- Clear cache and data: Settings > Applications > Manage Installed Applications > Crunchyroll > Clear cache / Clear data.
- Uninstall and reinstall the Crunchyroll app.
Android Mobile
- Update your device to the latest Android version.
- Close other apps running in the background.
- Turn off VPNs.
- Uninstall and reinstall the Crunchyroll app.
Android TV
- From Home, go to Settings > Device Preferences (or Device).
- Select Restart/Reboot and confirm.
- Uninstall and reinstall the Crunchyroll app.
Apple TV
- Uninstall the Crunchyroll app.
- Restart your Apple TV: Settings > System > Restart, or unplug for 10 seconds and reconnect.
- Reinstall the Crunchyroll app.
Browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari)
- Remove ad-blockers, VPNs, and antivirus programs.
- Disable all browser extensions.
- Clear cache and cookies, then ensure your browser is up to date.
- Refresh the page with Ctrl+F5 (Windows) or Shift+Cmd+R (Mac).
- Try an Incognito/Private window.
- Reset your router or modem.
Chromecast
- Update the Crunchyroll and Google Home apps.
- Turn off casting, restart the app, and try again.
- Reinstall the Crunchyroll app on Chromecast (Google TV) or on your casting device (older Chromecast).
- Reboot Chromecast.
- Confirm your device and Chromecast are on the same Wi-Fi network.
iOS Mobile
- Update your device to the latest iOS version.
- Close other apps running in the background.
- Turn off VPNs.
- Uninstall and reinstall the Crunchyroll app.
Nintendo Switch
- Power off the console: hold Power > Power Options > Turn Off.
- Enter Maintenance Mode: hold both volume buttons + Power.
- Select Initialize Console Without Deleting Save Data > OK.
- Clear cache and delete Crunchyroll app data.
- Uninstall and reinstall the app.
PlayStation (PS4/PS5)
- Turn off completely: hold the PlayStation button > Turn Off PS.
- Wait for the power light to stop blinking, then unplug for a few seconds.
- Plug back in, restart, uninstall, and reinstall the Crunchyroll app.
Roku
- From Home, clear the cache: press Home (x5) > Up > Rewind (x2) > Fast Forward (x2).
- Wait 15–30 seconds for the device to restart.
- Uninstall and reinstall the Crunchyroll app.
Xbox (One, Series X, Series S)
- Restart
- Restart from Power Center: hold Xbox button > Restart console.
- Restart from Guide: Xbox button > Profile & System > Settings > Power options > Restart now.
- Power cycle: hold Xbox button on the console for 10 seconds > restart.
- Clear cache (Series X/S): Xbox button > Settings > System > Console Info > Reset Console > Reset and Keep My Games & Apps.
- Uninstall and reinstall the Crunchyroll app.
