You’re finally comfortable and ready to press play on the next episode of your favorite show…when you see a message that you’ve reached your device streaming limit. ヽ( `д´*)ノ
If you’re wondering what gives, here’s why you may be hitting a streaming limit (and what you can do to fix it).
How many devices can I stream on with my plan?
How many devices you can watch content on simultaneously depends on your Premium membership tier.
- Fan Plan: Stream on 1 device at a time.
- Mega Fan Plan: Stream on up to 4 devices at the same time.
- Ultimate Fan Plan: Stream on up to 6 devices at the same time. (This plan is only available in the United States.)
Can I create profiles for different viewers?
Yes! Premium members can create up to 5 profiles per account. Each profile can track its own watchlist and progress — but the simultaneous stream limits still apply. Why do I only see the Fan Plan on my Roku or Android TV app?
If you subscribe to Crunchyroll Premium through Roku or Android TV, only the Fan Plan is available. You can still stream, but it’s limited to one device at a time.
To unlock Mega Fan or Ultimate Fan, resubscribe through the Crunchyroll website or mobile app.
What should I do if I can’t stream on multiple devices?
- Make sure you’re on the Mega Fan or Ultimate Fan plan.
- If you’ve recently upgraded but still can’t stream on more than one device, thesystem may need a moment to catch up (especially if you’re subscribed through a service partner like Amazon).
- Check which devices have access to your account, and deactivate any that you don’t recognize. For a walkthrough on reviewing your devices, check out this article: How can I manage the devices connected to my account?
