- Place the base: Set the figure’s base on a flat, stable surface, like a table.
- Align the feet:
- Hold the figure with both hands.
- Match one foot with the peg on the base.
- Gently guide the other foot onto the second peg.
- Use little to no force. Always check alignment, and be careful with fragile parts.
- Adjust with heat (If needed):
- If the feet don’t align, use a low-heat hair dryer.
- Hold it about 6 inches away, and heat one leg for 5 seconds at a time.
- After heating, gently adjust the foot to fit on the peg.
- Check the fit:
- A snug base is normal.
- Loose bases can make figures fall or lean over time.
- Your figure should feel stable and secure when lifted by the base.
