Where can I find the Content Rating?
You can find a show's Content Rating:
- On the Details Page: You can check the details page of the show, movie, or music video for the rating. The exact spot may differ depending on your device. Along with the content rating, you'll see Content Descriptors which offer more insight about some themes and details included such as profanity, violence, or nudity.
- At the beginning of video playback: When you play an episode of a show or movie you’ve selected, you’ll see the Content Rating and any Descriptors displayed briefly in the upper left-hand corner at the beginning of the show.
What are Content Restrictions?
Content Restrictions refers to the ability to set specific viewing limitations based on Content Ratings based on Crunchyroll’s master account password-protected system. By customizing these restrictions, the main Crunchyroll account holder can control which rating levels are accessible for each profile and sub-profile attached to the master account.
- This feature uses the Content Ratings, enabling users to tailor the viewing experience according to their preferences and ensure that only appropriate content is available for viewing.
- Content rated above the chosen levels will be automatically blocked from playback.
