If you received a notification about a login from a device or location you don’t recognize, this is a security feature designed to help protect your account. To easily review and secure your account, follow these steps.
Why did I receive this notification?
We send these alerts when we detect a login from:
- A new device
- A different location or region
- A browser that hasn’t been used before
What should I do?
- Check the email notification
- Look for the email notification regarding the new login and review the details:
- The device used
- The approximate location
- Did You Authorize the Login?

No action is needed. You can continue using your account as normal. |

3. After resetting your password, log back into your account as usual.
Can’t access the email or the link expired?
No problem, you can still secure your account:
- Reset your password directly from the website
- Review and remove devices from your account settings
Manage your active devices
You can review and manage all devices currently using your account:
- Go to your Account Settings
- Open the Device Management
- Select Deactivate All Devices if needed
Important information about the security link
- The “THIS WAS NOT ME” link expires after 48 hours
- Each link can only be used once
- If you receive multiple notifications, you can use any one of them
I reset my password, but still can’t log in
If you’re having trouble logging in after updating your password:
- Double-check your email and password
- Try a different browser or device
- Disable extensions or ad blockers
- Review additional troubleshooting steps for login issues
I can’t update my password. How do I secure my account?
If you’ve already used the security link, your account has been logged out of all devices. If you’re still unable to update your password, please contact Crunchyroll Support.
