Is it time to say goodbye already? We'll miss having you around, but we'll be waiting for you to return with open arms… and tons of anime! 🫶
Things to Keep in Mind When Canceling Your Membership
- Cancel Through the Website: Canceling your membership is only possible through the Crunchyroll website.
- No Refunds for Partial Subscriptions: We don’t offer refunds for partial subscriptions.
- Avoid Charges After Free Trial: To avoid being charged after your free trial ends, make sure to cancel before the automatic renewal date.
- Keep Watching Until End of Trial: If you cancel your free trial before it ends, you'll still have the remaining days left on your subscription.
- End of Premium Services: Canceling your membership will end all premium services for additional profiles under your account.
Cancelling directly on our site (Credit Card, PayPal)
If you’re billed through Crunchyroll and would like to cancel your subscription (steps may vary for subscribers billed through a third party, please check the information under ''How Can I Cancel My Membership If I Paid Through a third party?''):
Avoid the automatic renewal payment for credit card and PayPal by following these steps:
- Log in to Your Crunchyroll Account.
- Access Membership Info
- Click on Cancel Subscription
- Scroll to the bottom of the next page
- Click on Cancel Membership once more.
- A confirmation message will appear to certify your membership has been canceled.
You’ll continue to have access to Crunchyroll until the end of your current billing cycle, but will not be charged moving forward. The same goes for free trial subscribers; if you cancel during your trial period, you'll continue to have access, but will not be charged once the trial has ended.
Canceling via PayPal
If you’ve been using PayPal for your membership payments, we suggest turning off auto-renewal on their website to dodge any additional surprise charges.
- Log in to PayPal
- Go to Settings
- Click the Payments Tab
- Choose Manage Automatic Payments.
- Find Crunchyroll in your list of automatic payments.
- Select Crunchyroll.
Although you may be selecting to end your subscription, your relationship with Crunchyroll continues! You are allowed to re-subscribe and explore our website anytime.
Go forth, anime enthusiast. We will be here waiting for your return! ✨
