If you just want to take a break from your paid Crunchyroll subscription but keep your watch history, watchlists, and preferences, you can cancel your membership at any time—you will no longer be charged but your account will stay intact.

To request to have your account deleted:
- Log in to the Crunchyroll mobile app.
- Go to your account settings → Privacy → Delete My Account.
- If you have an active subscription, you will need to cancel it first.
- Tap Continue to Account Deletion to open the intake form.
- Select the services you would like to delete your data from.
- Enter the email address associated with your account.
What happens next?
- You’ll get a privacy request email from Sony, asking you to confirm your email. This allows us to verify your account.
- Once you confirm your email, your request for deletion has been submitted.
- It may take a few business days to process your request. During that time, you’ll still be able to log in and use your account.
