Android
To fix this issue, try adjusting these settings:
- Adjust your button size:
- Open the Crunchyroll app and play an episode.
- Go to Settings > Display > Screen Zoom and move the slider to a smaller scale.
- Check your font settings: If the button size isn’t the problem, it might be your font style. Some non-default fonts cause errors.
- Go to Settings > Display > Font and Style.
- Under Font Style, select Default.

iOS
Sometimes, the quality of the video can interfere with your ability to go fullscreen.
To adjust the video quality, follow these steps:
- Open up the Crunchyroll app and play an episode.
- Tap the gear icon (top right of the screen).
- In the pop up menu, go to Quality and select 1080p or 720p.
- Return to your video and enjoy it in fullscreen mode!
