Crunchyroll on TiVo OS

TiVo OS is the operating system currently available on Sharp (US & Europe) and Vestel (Europe). It allows you to download apps, including Crunchyroll, so you can enjoy anime right on your TV.

To log in to your Crunchyroll account on your TV, just:

1. Open TiVo. 
2. Search for Crunchyroll.
3. Click on the Crunchyroll app icon, and select Add to.

1. Open the Crunchyroll app from the TiVo HOME menu.
2. Select LOG IN → Log in with Email OR Log in with a code.
3. Enter your details, and you’re ready to explore your anime favorites.

Yes! You can create an account and choose the Premium plan that best fits your needs.

Your TV will receive updates for the Crunchyroll app automatically! Just make sure it’s connected to the internet.

If subtitles or Closed Captions are available for a video, you can turn them on or off in the video player:

1. Open the Settings (gear icon) while playing a video.
2. Select Subtitles/CC to adjust.

• Closed captions: Yes, you can adjust how they look from the Closed Caption styling setting in the player.
• Subtitles: Subtitles are embedded (“burned in”), so they cannot be customized at this time.

If Crunchyroll isn’t working, try the following steps: 

1. 1. Restart your TV. Turn it off, unplug it for 30 seconds, then plug it back in.
   2. Check your internet connection. Test other apps to confirm your connection works.
   3. Update the Crunchyroll app. Go to the store on your TV and check if there’s an update available for Crunchyroll.
   4. Reinstall the Crunchyroll app. Uninstall Crunchyroll, then reinstall it from the store.

If Crunchyroll is running slowly on your TiVo:

• Make sure you have a strong internet connection. Streams may slow down if you’re competing for bandwidth (gaming, streaming on another device, etc).
• Restart your TV.
• Clear the app cache for Crunchyroll from your TV settings.

If the Crunchyroll app is crashing or freezing:

1. Close other apps. 
2. Clear the app cache and data. 
3. Reinstall the Crunchyroll app.
