Pre-orders mean you’re first in line—your patience secures the prize! You can pre-order items from the Crunchyroll Store EU, but sometimes release dates or availability may change. Here’s everything you need to know about how pre-orders work.
Are pre-order release dates accurate?
We work closely with our vendors to give you the best release dates possible. However, these dates are only estimates and may change for reasons outside our control. If a date changes, we update the product page and do our best to notify all customers affected.
The pre-order window has closed. Can I still buy it?
Sometimes we have extra units when a product is released. You can enter your email on the product page to be notified if more become available.
Why did a pre-order close early?
In rare cases, pre-orders close early if we sell out before the cut-off date or if a vendor requests it.
What payment methods can I use for pre-orders?
We accept credit cards and Crunchyroll Gift Cards for pre-orders. Other methods like Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal are only available for in-stock items.
When do I pay for my pre-ordered item(s)?
Your card is charged when your pre-order is released and ready to ship. At purchase, we’ll give you an estimated ship date, but this may change.
A temporary authorization may appear on your card when you place your order. This is normal and will disappear in a few days.
Can I cancel my pre-order?
Yes, but it depends on the status:
- If the item hasn’t shipped, contact Crunchyroll Support to cancel. We’ll issue a full refund if your payment has been processed.
- If the item has shipped or is being prepared for shipping, we won’t be able to cancel it. But once you receive the order, you can request a return through our return policy.
What happens if my order has multiple pre-order items?
- Items with different release dates will ship separately.
- Items with the same release date will ship together in one package.
- You’ll get a shipping confirmation for each package.
Why was my pre-order canceled?
We try to fulfill all orders, but sometimes problems happen. Reasons may include:
- Selling more units than expected
- Manufacturer errors
- Incorrect pricing
- Fraud concerns
If your pre-order is canceled, you’ll get an email explaining why.
