To update the payment method for your Crunchyroll account, follow these steps:
- Visit Crunchyroll.com → Settings → Membership Info → Manage Payment Method.
- Click on Add New Payment Method.
- Select the payment method type you would like to use and enter the details requested on your screen.
- Click on Add.
- Your newly added payment method will automatically be set as Primary.
- Note: Any payment methods already added to your account will be set as Backup. These payment methods will be used for a transaction if your primary payment method fails.
If you would like to set a backup payment method as your Primary payment method:
- Click the three dots(⋮) on the backup payment method you would like to use.
- Click Make Primary to set your selected payment method as primary for future renewals.
What if I’m subscribed through Apple, Google, or another third-party service?
You’ll need to change your payment method through that service if you’re subscribed through Apple Pay, Google Play, or a partner service like Amazon Prime, YouTube, or Roku.

How can I remove a payment method I have added?
- Visit Crunchyroll.com > Settings > Membership Info > Manage Payment Method.
- Click the three dots(⋮) next to the backup payment method you would like to remove.
- Click Delete Payment Method.
Note: You must set another payment method as Primary before removing your current one.
