When signing up for a Crunchyroll account, you’ll need to verify the email address linked to your profile. Email verification helps to keep your account updated and secure.
How do I request the verification link on the website?
- Log in to your account.
- At the top of the screen, look for the message that says your email needs to be verified.
- Click Send verification link (blue button).
- A message at the top will confirm that the email was sent.
- Check your inbox for the email from Crunchyroll. (If it’s not there, check your Spam/Junk folder, or search for “Please Confirm Your Account”.)
- Click the link in the email to confirm. You’ll be redirected to a page showing that your account has been successfully verified.
How do I request the verification link on a mobile device?
- Open the Crunchyroll App.
- At the top of the screen, you’ll see a message saying your email hasn’t been verified yet.
- Tap Send Verification Link.
- Check your inbox and open the email.
- Tap the link inside the email, and you’ll be redirected to a confirmation page showing your account has been verified.
What if my verification link has expired?
Verification links expire after 24 hours. If it expires before you’ve had a chance to verify your account, you can request a new link by going to your
- Crunchyroll account settings > Email > Resend Verification Link.
What if I don’t receive the verification email link?
Make sure your account has a valid email address. If you still don’t see the email:
- Check your spam/junk folders.
- Search your inbox for Please Confirm Your Account.
- Confirm that you typed your email address correctly.
If you still can’t find it, contact Crunchyroll Support and let us know you’re not receiving the verification link. Be ready to share a screenshot of your account settings page showing your email address.
What if I no longer have access to my email?
If you’re unable to access the email address connected to your account:
- Contact Crunchyroll Support and request an email change.
- To protect your account, you’ll be asked to confirm your payment information.
If you still see an alert asking you to verify, you can request a new link. If the alert doesn’t appear, your account has already been verified. If you’re still unsure, reach out to Crunchyroll Support and we’ll confirm it for you. You might be waiting for a verification email, but you’re already a verified anime fan in our eyes!
