When signing up for a Crunchyroll account, you’ll need to verify the email address linked to your profile. Email verification helps to keep your account updated and secure.
How do I request the verification link?
On the website:
- Log in to your account.
- Once you are logged in, navigate to the top of the screen. A message will appear notifying you your email needs to be verified.
- Click on the blue Send verification link.
- You’ll see a message at the top of the screen indicating your verification email has been sent to the email on file.
- Check your email address and look for the verification email from Crunchyroll. If it doesn’t immediately pop up, you should check your spam inboxes. You can also search for the verification link by searching for “Please Confirm Your Account”.
- After you click the link on your verification email, it will redirect you to another tab, showing your account has been verified successfully! Now, you can get back to watching all your anime favorites.
On your mobile device:
- Open the Crunchyroll App.

At the top of your screen, you’ll notice a message saying your email address has not been verified yet. You can tap on the SEND VERIFICATION LINK to begin the process.
- The verification email will be sent to your email on file. Now, you can navigate to your inbox to search for it.
- Locate the email in your inbox, and tap the link you’ve received. You’ll be redirected to another screen, showing your email has been verified!
Does the verification link expire?
Your verification link will expire after 24 hours, but you can always request another one!
What if I don’t receive the verification email link?
Heads up! You will only be able to receive a verification link if your account is associated with a valid email address, and you’ve chosen a username.
- If you do not receive the verification link but have a valid email and username, please feel free to submit a request to our support team. On Issue, select Account / Login. On the Problem Type option, select Not receiving verification email.
- On your request, please include a screenshot of your account settings showing your email address.
What do I do if the email address has a typo or if I don’t have access to it?
If you do not have access to the email address on file, your next step is to request an email change. You can do so by submitting a request to our Support team.
Select Account/Login, and on the Problem Type option, select Change Email.
To protect your information, you’ll be requested to confirm your payment information.
If you are still seeing an alert indicating you need to verify your email, you can request a new verification link.
If an alert doesn’t appear on your account, this indicates your account has already been verified. If you still feel uncertain about the status of your account, feel free to contact our support team so we can check.
