As a Crunchyroll member, you can allow or restrict access to mature-rated content for your account and all profiles linked to it.
On the website
- Open the profile you want to change.
- Click your Avatar in the top right corner and select Settings.
- Click Preferences on the left-side menu.
- Under Content Restrictions, click the current rating to open the drop-down menu (set to Ages 16 and up by default).
- Scroll and select Ages 18 and up.
- Enter your account password and select Confirm.
Your content restriction is now set to Ages 18 and up, allowing you to watch mature content.
Important:
- Switching content restrictions to 18+ confirms that you are of legal age to view mature content.
- By default, content restrictions are set to 16 and up on every profile. To change this, you’ll need to adjust each profile’s content restriction settings individually.
On the mobile app
- Open the profile you want to change.
- Select Account at the bottom of the screen.
- Under Content Restrictions, tap the current rating to open the drop-down menu (set to Ages 16 and up by default).
- Select Ages 18 and up.
- Enter your account password and tap Continue to confirm.
Your content restriction is now set to Ages 18 and up, allowing you to watch mature content.
